On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the Department of Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Science organized a ceremony to honor academically outstanding students who also distinguished themselves with their high moral character. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Abu Al-Hamd Hassan Mohamed, Dean of Faculty of Science, and Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, who presented the awards and certificates of appreciation to the honored students. This recognition comes as part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to encourage students to exert more effort and dedication in their academic pursuits and to promote ethical values ​​within the university community. Prof. Abu Al-Hamd Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized the importance of balancing academic excellence with good conduct, stressing that such initiatives contribute to building a generation capable of facing scientific and social challenges.

For his part, Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din expressed his pleasure at attending this event, which aims to motivate students to excel and innovate, calling on everyone to continue striving for the best results in various fields.

The Faculty of Science Council at Aswan University convened today, Tuesday, October 14, 2025, for the October session of the 2025/2026 academic year. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Abu Al-Hamd Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by the following members:
