Aswan University signs a cooperation protocol with ministry of Agriculture and land reclamation for land taxonomy studies

Aswan University president Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed signs a cooperation protocol entitled” land taxonomy studies”

Aswan University president Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed _declared that the representatives of Ministry of agriculture and land reclamation and desert research Centre _represented by president of desert research Centre Dr / Abdallaa Kasem Zaghlol_ witnessed assigning the protocol and that in frame of the role of Egyptian universities as Aswan and Assiut Universities.

Aswan University president Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab added that believing in the importance of scientific research and working on exchanging scientific experiences and carrying out specialized research and studies in lands and water fields between scientific foundations to serve agriculture development in our beloved Egypt, Whereas Aswan university have research and scientific potentials in many fields and lands studies through faculty of agriculture and natural resources. The importance of signing this protocol is to achieve full benefit from Aswan University scientists’ capabilities in field of land reclamation. Prof/Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed _ referred to the importance of desert research Centre as a prominent scientific institution locally and internationally that it is the expertise Centre in field of developmental work in Egyptian deserts. Aware of the importance of Egyptian universities as a prominent scientific institution locally and internationally that have leading technical cadres and expertise in different fields of land studies.

According to the mission of Ministry of agriculture and land reclamation and consistent with the directives of political leadership and society needs from achieving Productive abundance and food security whether in vertical or horizontal expansion.

Dr/ Abdallaa Al-Kasem Zaghlol _directed Minister of Agriculture and land reclamation in cooperation with Egyptian universities in geographic area for districts which the minister implements the studies of land taxonomy and inventory in its scope

Aswan and Assiut universities have all technical possibilities and scientific cadres which working on serving society. As the two universities have important role and expertise in many fields as inventory and taxonomy of lands, so that these parties approved on signing the protocol between Minister of agriculture and land reclamation that represented in the desert research Centre and between the Egyptian universities represented in Aswan and Assiut universities and that in attendance of Prof/Ayman Othman _Vice president for graduate studies and research, Dr/Yasser Abdel-Hamid _Faculty Of Agriculture and natural Resources _Aswan University_ and members of delegation of Minister of Agriculture and Assuit university, at the end of meeting the two parties exchanged commemorative shields.               

Aswan University hospital signs a cooperation protocol with Abu Simple International hospital for exchange medical expertise

Aswan University president Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed declared that in frame of development which witnessed by Aswan University hospitals from structural, medical surge and working on training the medical cadres and nursing staff to upgrade health system and working on presenting outstanding medical service for Aswan governorate and upper Egypt people, University hospital signed many treatment protocols and exchanging medical and health expertise and in this  academy and training frame, Prof/ Mohamed Zaki Al-Dhahshouri _Faculty of Medicine_ added that Aswan university hospitals witness signing a cooperation protocol with Abu Simble International Hospital and that in attendance of Dr/ Mohamed Abo El-Footoh _ Manager of Abu Simble international hospital, Dr. Essam Abo El-Majd _ Manager of surgical University hospital.

Dr/ Ashraf Mebed _ Executive manager of Aswan University hospital_ indicated that Aswan University is working on Exchange scientific and medical expertise between major hospitals for presenting a better service for Aswan governorate people.           

Aswan University president witnesses the ceremony of university Centre for career development

Aswan University president Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed witnesses the ceremony of university Centre for career development (UCCD) in Aswan University and handed over certificates for the first batch of Aswan University students who benefits from the Centre and that under patronage of Aswan University president Prof / Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed and in attendance of Prof / Magdi Mohamed Ali _Vice president for community service and environment development, Dr/ Aml Abdel-Wahed _Project manager _and a group of faculties deans and representatives of some companies and private entities.

Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab _University president _ confirmed in his speech that Aswan University was one of the first universities that participated in University Centre project in Egyptian university which is implemented in cooperation with the American university in Cairo and with support of united states agency for international development, the Centre was opened in January 2020 and in attendance of Dr/ Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar _Minister of Higher education and scientific research and President of the American University, manager of the united states  agency for international development and in attendance of Maj.Gen/ Ashraf Attia _Aswan Governor _ and a group of Egyptian Universities presidents.

Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab added that the Centre is working on qualifying students to labor market through a group of practical trainings and professional development services; the Centre also works on permanent communication to connect university with labor market needs.

Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab hands over appreciation certificates to some of representatives of private sectors who cooperated through many activities which aims to students’ service including chairman of board of directors of Al-Salam Academy group and chairman of board of directors of makani restaurant, Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab _honored a group of students in the Centre for their efforts throughout the year to work in the Centre.

It is worth noting that the Centre in light of Corona virus epidemic continues in presenting its services to student in 2020 and transforming to work online, the Beneficiaries from the Centre services are 3363 students through this year.
