Speech of Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs

I am pleased to welcome our students from Faculty of Science at Aswan University, and those who joined it to be their gateway to a bright future, equipped with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to become valuable contributors to the development of our beloved nation.
Based on the Faculty of Science’s leadership and its effective role as a center of knowledge, as well as its significant community role in graduating numerous scientists who possess the skills and knowledge necessary for scientific, ethical, and professional community work, we are committed to continuously developing and improving the services provided by the sector to enrich the educational process and achieve its intended goals.
The Education and Student Affairs sector is crucial and a fundamental pillar of the faculty and the university as a whole, due to its close connection with students, who are the primary reason for the university’s existence. This responsibility, supported by Academic staff and units’ employees, underscores our commitment to prioritizing students’ needs and always considering what serves their best interests from their first day on campus.
The sector handles student scheduling, prepares classrooms, following the daily progress of the educational process, and addresses any obstacles that may hinder achieving the desired goals. It also prepares various programs and services aimed at developing students’ personalities and helping them overcome any challenges they may face in their academic journey, in alignment with the university’s mission and the faculty’s objectives.
Our mission includes providing intellectual, cultural, artistic, sports, and guidance activities that contribute to the development of a well-rounded and balanced personality for our students. We strive to offer all available resources and continuously innovate and implement new and beneficial initiatives, under the esteemed leadership of Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-din and his wise guidance and directives.
