Faculty of Science organizes an introductory symposium on Information Technology Institute

Today, corresponding to Tuesday 27th February 2024, an introductory seminar was held on the services, job opportunities, and training courses offered by the Information Technology Institute (Mahara Tech) platform for e-learning for students, in attendance of Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din _ Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and a number of distinguished Academic staff. and students, as Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din emphasized the importance of benefiting from the grants offered by the platform and the importance of continuous learning and exerting efforts to develop the personal skills and capabilities of students.

Aswan University president: we are working on presenting technical support to faculty of Physical Education

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab _assured the importance of reviewing all faculty files which have not been approved until following the rest of faculties that granted accreditation in light of program and institutional accreditation standards from national authority for education quality assurance in Egypt.

Prof. Ghallab added that these visits and workshops working on spreading quality culture between Academic staff, their assistants, employees and students in the faculty,  preparing for stepping up to the projects which are presented by projects administration in Ministry of higher education and research.     

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed _Aswan University president_ witnessed the workshop and the visit of quality assurance and accreditation in the university and that in attendance of Prof/ Nadi Kamal Aziz_ Director of quality assurance and accreditation unit, Prof/ Adel Mekky _Faculty of Physical Education dean and Centre administrative group_ the visit was for presenting technical support for Faculty of Physical Education.

Aswan University president: converting old villages into heritage villages as tourist resorts

Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed _Aswan University president declared that Dr. Saeda Afana _ head of tourism administration department and head of the crowd marketing of the conference_ participated with a research paper entitled “converting old villages to heritage villages as tourist resorts”, through the events of the fifth international conference for sustainable, integral development and future prospects (online), she indicated through the fifth international conference for sustainable development through participation of Middle East University with its partnerships “Egypt future foundation for sustainable development” and Faros University that its event will be held in Luxor and Aswan (online) from 10/12 to 14/12/2020, she illustrated in the paper the importance of maintaining the old villages and restructuring functionally in order to employ the workforce by enabling women in the villages to work in old handicrafts and work to revive the heritage of crafts from making porcelain to making glass and popular foods and providing the opportunity to teach tourists with these crafts.

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab added that the interest in these crafts through this research works to improve the economic situation of the village residents, the governorate and the state, and Dr. Saeda recommended the necessity to implement the idea of ​​converting old villages into heritage tourist resorts in all Arab countries to preserve the continuity and sustainability of these villages and ancient crafts as tourist destinations to consolidate customs, traditions and the common Arab heritage.
