Aswan University Council: vaccination of 37,000 people in preparation for receiving the next academic year

Today, Aswan University council No. (110) headed by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman _Aswan University president _in attendance of Major General / Ashraf Attia _Aswan governor_ in attendance of Faculty Deans and Advisors of University president.

Prof. Ayman Othman Welcomed Major General / Ashraf Attia_ Aswan Governor_ and the attendees, for his part, the university council presented university Shield to Major General/ Ashraf Attia _Aswan governor_ and that appreciating to university role in supporting the university, the governorate donated 13 nurseries to Aswan University Hospital.

Major General /Ashraf Attia _Aswan Governor_ presented governorate shield to Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ appreciating for his role in managing the university in the current transitional phase.

For another part, Prof. Ayman Othman _  has emphasized that the university and the governorate are two sides of the same coin, and there is integration and harmony in all scientific, research, community and development fields that benefit Aswan community. His Excellency added that all preparations are being made to receive the new academic year, starting from 9th October 2021, as maintenance work in university hostels and university facilities in various university campuses in Sahari and Aswan Al-Gadeda.

Accordingly, committees have been prepared to receive corona virus vaccine at the university for 37,000 students, Academic Staff and employees in light of the fourth wave of corona virus.

On the sidelines of the council, university president honored the students’ union in appreciation of their role and interaction in student activities and the role they played in the success of the academic year 2020-2021. The shield was received by student/ Islam Youssef, president of the union.
