Faculty of Medicine honors its winning students in Holy Quran competition

In frame of the university’s plan, headed by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_Aswan University President _ to implement student, sports, cultural, scientific and social activities for the academic year 2020/2021 in the various faculties of the university. under the leadership of Dr. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury – Dean of Faculty of Medicine, and in the attendance of Dr. Mostafa Adam Al-Tiri – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Faculty of Medicine organized a honoring ceremony for students of Faculty of Medicine who memorized the Holy Qur’an in the “Mazameer Dawood” competition for memorization and recitation, which is held for the third year in a row. .

Whereas the competition was held, under the supervision of His Eminence Sheikh / Ramadan Abo Tarboush – Sheikh of the reciters of the Upper Egypt region, and organized by Dr / Hussein Mohamed Hussein – lecturer of medical physiology, in cooperation with Iman Abdel-Salam_ youth welfare officer at the faculty, and the students of the union, headed by Mahmoud Al-Sayed, head of the Students’ Union of the faculty this year.

In the midst of an elite gathering of Al-Azhar sheikhs and students of the Faculty of Medicine from the various academic batches in the faculty, the ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, which recited by the owner of the golden flute, who won first place last year, student /Osama Rekabi in the sixth year, and then the concert paragraphs continued, where he performed with Abdallah Abu Ellail

Dr. Mohammad Zaki Al-Dahshoury, Dean of the faculty of Medicine, urged the students to encourage them to continue training, fortification and adherence to Holly Quran wishing them more excellence and success on the scientific, personal and professional levels, as they are heroes of the White Army in the near future and who are devoted to serving patients. and working on treating them.

 

His Eminence Sheikh / Ramadan Abo Tarboush pointed to the importance of memorizing the Holly Quran, persevering in reciting it, acting on its commands and avoiding its prohibitions, as it is the savior in this world and the hereafter, with thanks to the organizers of the competition’s activities.

At the end of the ceremony, the faculty administration honored the winners, and presented the faculty shield to Sheikh Ramadan Abo Tarboush in appreciation for his efforts.

Aswan University delegation participate in the strategic plan forum to fight corruption at the Leaders Institute in Helwan

In frame the Digital Transformation policies in Higher Educations and scientific research Foundations under patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar _ Minister of Higher Education and scientific research, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Aswan University president_ headed by Dr. Karim Hamam_ Manager of the Institute, under supervision of Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, Dr. Abdel-Moneam Al-Gelany and the Vice deans of the institute, the delegation of Aswan University president in the Leaders development institute to attend the National strategic plan forum to Combat Corruption and work to eliminate all its forms by raising awareness about preventing the sources of corruption in educational and research institutions. The program also includes a number of other different activities.

Aswan university delegation who are participated in the leaders Institute in Helwan consists of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Sadeq Mohamed, Dr. Ayman Abdel Ghaffar, Dr. Mohamed Abul-Layl, Dr. Khaled Abo el-Fadl, and Dr. Ahmed Moussa, among the delegations of Egyptian universities participating in the forum.

The forum included a group of scientific lectures as governance, fight against corruption, Egyptian national security, Administrative sciences and information techniques to combat Corruption, in order to raise awareness about Corruption dangers and how to eliminate it sources. 

Workers Syndicate in Aswan University holds a memorial ceremony for the late Mr. Khaled Siam, Faculty of Arts Secretary

The workers syndicate committee for Aswan University employees held a memorial ceremony for the late / Khaled Siam – the former Secretary General of Faculty of Arts. The memorial was witnessed by Dr. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – Aswan University President and in attendance of a number of deans of the faculties, the Vice-Dean of Faculty of Arts, Academic staff and their assistants, workers and workers syndicate members and His Eminence Sheikh Mohamed Abel-aziz, the former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf, and Sheikh Saudi Mansour are endowments scholars, many university leaders, the family of the deceased Aswan University, and the son of West Aswan village.

Memorial activities began with verses from the Holy Qur’an, then speeches introduced by the attendees. Prof. Ayman Othman emphasized on strengthening good relations between Aswan university employees.  Mr. Mahmoud Khair Allah, head of Aswan university’s workers syndicate said that the syndicate lost an active member in community, charitable and administrative work, the deceased was always at the service of his fellow syndicate members and all university employees.

 Mr. Mahmoud Sanusi, general director of Aswan university’s human resources and syndicate’s vice president, pointed at the good relationship of the late/ Khaled Seyam with all his colleagues and that he will remain immortal in the hearts of all, he offered his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.

Mr. Khaled Asran, assistant secretary general of Aswan university, explained that the memorial events introduced his personal and practical biography through a documentary about his career as well as speeches of his colleagues, praying to Allah Almighty to bless him with his mercy and to give his family and relatives patience and solace. At the conclusion, his family was honored as a recognition of his dedication to work.
