Aswan University president congratulates the political leadership and Egyptian people on anniversary of 6th of October victories

Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed _Aswan University president _congratulates president /Abdel-fattah El-Sisi_ Republic president_ and our Armed Forces on the 47th anniversary of 6th October victory.

Prof/ Ghallab added that all university leaderships, students, employees congratulate all Egyptians on this precious memory which its impact is still in the souls.

The university appreciated the role of Armed forces in war and peace; it also valued the mission of our armed forces in supporting the national projects that works on boosting production and sustainable development.

Prof/ Ghallab indicated that October victories achieved many important gains and results for Egypt at the political, diplomatic and military levels and it was a turning point in the history of international relations and that demonstrates the spirit of defiance of Egyptian people that refuses defeat and breakdown and does not satisfy with substitute of the victory despite the conspiracies against the homeland.

Aswan University participates in a workshop for preparing teachers of refugees and immigrants

Aswan University president _ Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed declared that in frame of Aswan University’s participation in a workshop in Zagazig university from 2 to 5 October 2020 for reviewing the professional diploma courses for teachers of refugees and immigrants and others, in participation with (Universities of Heliopolis , Zagazig, Al-Azhar and October 6).

Prof/ Ghallab added that Aswan University’s participation comes within the requirements of the European Union Project “Refugee Education certificate program for Egyptian teachers through hybrid (integrated) learning and that in participation with( Greece, Cyprus and the united kingdom).

Prof/ Ghallab indicated that Aswan University is represented by Prof. Nadi Kamal Aziz Gerges, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Aswan University, Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Otaifi and Dr. Adel Abdel-Fahim in Faculty of Science, and Dr. Abdel-Nasser Fayez and Dr. Yasmin El-Sayed Kamel in Faculty of Education .

Prof. Nadi Kamal Aziz indicated that this workshop aims to review the courses in Arabic to be tested on a group of teachers in mixed classes from Egyptians, refugees and immigrants, or community schools classes only for refugees and immigrants, as advances step to be approved by those universities and the Educational Studies Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities.

Aswan University participates with Minister of Higher Education, American University in Cairo and United States Agency for International Development, in opening the first virtual forum

Today, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar launched the first virtual forum for employment for universities UCCD 2020. Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Aswan University President_ participated in the opening in attendance of the President of American University in Cairo, Francis Richardoni, American University Adviser Dr. Ashraf Hatem, and Director of the United States Agency for International Development_ Leslie Reed, and the presidents of 10 Egyptian governmental universities.

The National Bank of Egypt also participated as a major partner with more than 40 companies in providing job and training opportunities at the event hosted by the University Centers for Career Development. The University Centers for Career Development is hosting the forum, which is a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development and implemented by the American University in Cairo at 10 universities: Alexandria, Ain Shams, Aswan, Beni Suef, Mansoura, Menoufia, Minya, Sadat, Sohag and Zagazig.

The Virtual Employment Forum of Career Development Centers in universities 2020 is a virtual online event through it  business owners meet with university students in a virtual environment and use chat rooms, teleconferencing, webcasts, webinars and / or Email to share information about available jobs. Job seekers, final years students, and recent graduates upload their CVs, browse company pavilions, communicate directly with company representatives, presenting advertising materials for companies, and attend webinars.
