After Aswan University ranked 1st at the level of Egyptian universities according to THE rankings 2021 and (401-500) globally for the second consecutive year, Aswan University headed by its president Prof. Ahmed Ghallb celebrated this esteemed victory. The celebration was attended by the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the chairman of the university’s ranking committee Prof. Mohamed Abd Al Aziz and the vice dean of the faculty of engineering. In the same context, Prof. Ghallab congratulated the Aswan people on that glorious achievement wishing continues development and flourish to Aswan University.
Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab declared that Aswan university achieved the 1st place at the level of Egyptian universities according to THE Ranking 2020. The ranking included 1400 universities in 92 countries. The table is based on 13 performance indicators which have been standardized carefully via measurement of the institution performance through teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international predictions. This ranking is the only one that is performed accurately and independently by Pricewaterhouse Coopers and is trusted globally by students, teachers, governments and industry experts.
Prof. Ghallab added that the ranking shows that:
Oxford university is in the top globally.
Cambridge university retracted to be in the 3rd place.
Aswan university were ranked in the tranche between 401-500 and the 1st in the level of Egyptian universities.
These achievements came as a result of the university efforts in the last years at the different fields, research , educational, academic and construction sectors as well as the relation between the university and the surrounding environment and its social influence.
Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab declared that a cooperation protocol between Aswan university and Misr University for Science and Technology was signed during Aswan university’s delegation headed by Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and the legal advisor Dr. Moustafa Kamel’s visit to MUST university headquarters. It was agreed on signing the protocol and defining its science and research fields, exchanging experience between the 2 parts, and working on enhancing the collaboration in the fields that serve the educational system. Aswan university delegation was received by Must university president Prof. Mohamed Al Azazy, the chairman of the board of trustees Mr. Khaled Al Tokhy, and the chairman of the board of trustees’ deputy Mr. Youssef Al Tokhy.
