Aswan University’s celebration of Science Day

Prof.  Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Aswan University President, declared that in frame of Aswan University’s celebrations of Science Day and the tenth anniversary of its establishment, and coinciding with the Egyptian people’s celebrations of the glorious revolution of 30 June; Aswan University intends to hold a major celebration under auspices of Major General/ Ashraf Attia Abdel-Bary – Aswan Governor_ and Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – Aswan University President_ and under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Mehalal_ Director of the International Ranking at Aswan University.

For his part, Prof. Ayman Othman added that the celebration will be held for a week on this occasion, starting from Sunday, 26th June until Thursday,30th June 2022.

The celebration events include many activities and services for the community, including:

The University Hospital offers a 25% discount on surgeries, CT scan and MRI for citizens in the governorate.

Students of Faculty of Medicine also participate in awareness campaign for diabetes and hypertension patients at the university.

Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources offers 25% discount on food products.

– Organizing exhibitions to display handicraft products from the works of university students in its various faculties at the headquarters of Aswan University in Sahari and at the university headquarters in Aswan Al-Gadeda.

Opening various sports fields and the covered halls to practice sports activities (football – five-a-side football –  handball – basketball – volleyball – speedball), providing all sports equipment, organizing sports competitions in all games, in addition to organizing an entertainment party in the covered hall and presenting some Sports and artistic shows.

The university president indicated that the university is organizing a celebration for that occasion on Tuesday, 28/6/2022 in Field Marshal Hussein Tantawy Hall on the university campus in Sahari, which includes cultural, artistic, musical and sports performances presented by students of faculties of physical education and specific education.

On the other hand, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Mehalal_ Director of the International Ranking office at Aswan University, stated that the ceremony will honor the recipients of university’s scientific awards (Merit – incentive – scientific publication) and honor the best faculties in the international Ranking and the best researchers in it.

The celebration will also witness the executive, popular, community and parliamentary leaders of Aswan Governorate, to participate in the university’s celebrations of science Day and the 10th anniversary of its establishment, coinciding with the Egyptian people’s celebrations of the glorious revolution of 30 June.

A scientific seminar for researcher / Samar Abdel-Baset_ assistant Lecturer in Mathematics Department

Under Patronage of Prof. Atef Ibrahim Abdel-Qader – Faculty Dean, Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Moneim Raslan – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Alaa El-Din Salah El-Din – Vice Dean for Graduate Studies Affairs, and Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din_ Vice Dean for Community Service and environment development Affairs, Doctoral thesis discussion was held today 20/6/2022 presented by the researcher / Samar Abdel-Basit Abdel-Sattar Abo Qutta – assistant Lecturer in Mathematics Department – entitled “The cohomology theory of infinity algebras”.
