Faculty Council of February 2024

February Council of the academic year 2023/2024 was held Today corresponding to Thursday, 1/11/2024, headed by Prof. Abo Al-Hamad Hassan Mohamed _ Dean of Faculty of Science, and in attendance of Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din _ Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Ashraf Imam – Vice Dean for community service and environmental development affairs and department heads in the Faculty Council Hall. The Council discussed some matters related to the faculty and its latest work.

Prof. Abo Al-Hamad Hassan Mohamed _ Dean of Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ashraf Imam – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs, and Prof. Motamed Refaat Mohamed_Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research_ Department Heads, Academic staff, and Ms. Asmaa Awad Mohamed_ Secretary of the faculty, congratulate the Researcher/ Hebat Allah Salah Mohamed Ahmed Mandour for obtaining PHD.

Today, corresponding to Wednesday 14th  February 2024, the defense of the doctoral dissertation of researcher Hebat Allah Salah Mohammad Ahmed Mandour was held.

Thesis title: “Improving the physico-chemical and electrical properties of bio-oils for transformers and evaluating their environmental impact.”

The supervisory committee consisted of:

Prof. Ali Kamel Khalafalla_ Emeritus  professor of organic chemistry and former dean of Faculty of Science – Aswan University.

And Prof. Gharib Mahmoud Taha – Emeritus Professor of Environment Analytical Chemistry – Department of Chemistry – Faculty of Science – Aswan University.

And Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat _ Professor of Power and Electrical Machinery Engineering – Department of Power and Electrical Machinery _Faculty of Engineering – Aswan University.

The discussion was attended by Prof. Abo Al-Hamad Hassan Mohamed – Faculty dean, Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour Al-Din _ Vice Dean for Education Affairs, and a group of Academic staff  in the department.
