Faculty council of March 2024

       Today, corresponding to Thursday, 3/7/2024, Faculty Council of March 2024 was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Abo Al-Hamad Hassan Mohamed – Dean of the Faculty of Science and in attendance of Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din _ Vice Dean of Faculty for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Ashraf Imam – Vice Dean of Faculty for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs, Prof. Motamed Refaat_ Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and department heads, in the Faculty Council Hall. The Council discussed some matters related to the faculty and its latest work.

Symposium on addiction prevention and the danger of substance abuse

             Under patronage of Prof. Ayman Othman _ University President_ Prof. Louai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, and Prof. Abo Al-Hamad Hassan Mohamed _ Dean of Faculty of Science, and within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Aswan University, Faculty of Science organized an Awareness symposium today, corresponding to Thursday, 7/3/2024. entitled “Addiction and Methods of Prevention and Treatment” headed by Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din – Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs. Dr. Alaa opened the symposium stressing the importance of shedding light on the phenomenon of drug abuse and raising awareness of its dangers to the individual and society, Dr. Walaa Saad Arafa _ Coordinator of the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Abuse.lectured at it. The symposium was attended by a group of students from different academic batches.

Faculty of Science organizes an introductory symposium on Information Technology Institute

Today, corresponding to Tuesday 27th February 2024, an introductory seminar was held on the services, job opportunities, and training courses offered by the Information Technology Institute (Mahara Tech) platform for e-learning for students, in attendance of Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din _ Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and a number of distinguished Academic staff. and students, as Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din emphasized the importance of benefiting from the grants offered by the platform and the importance of continuous learning and exerting efforts to develop the personal skills and capabilities of students.
