Leadership selection criteria

Selection Criteria for the director of academic programs
  1. Scientific competence and known commitment and integrity among Academic staff.
  2. Outstanding academic, research, and community activity.
  3. Specialization in the academic program.
  4. Job record demonstrating integrity and commitment.
  5. Collaboration and good relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and subordinates.
  6. Consideration of managerial, leadership, and innovative skills.
  7. Active participation in student activities and services.
  8. Contribution to areas of quality and development.
  9. Ability to manage and work under pressure.
Selection Criteria for the academic program coordinator
  1. To be among the Academic staff of the department known for commitment and integrity.
  2. Possess leadership and management skills.
  3. To be Specialist in the academic program with scientific competence in their field of specialization.
  4. To have effective communication skills with colleagues, academic leaders, and administrators.
  5. To have a vision and propose innovative solutions with a progressive mindset.
  6. To have a resume that qualifies them for excellence in accomplishing assigned tasks.
  7. To have experience in quality assurance and educational development.
  8. To have experience in how to conduct and formulate a self-evaluation study.
  9. To have an effective participation in the areas of student activities and services.
  10. To be familiar with the models of descriptions and reports of programs and courses.
Selection Criteria for the Quality Assurance Unit Director
  1. To be an Academic staff at Faculty of Science, Aswan University.
  2. It is preferable that he has been working at the helm for at least two years prior to candidacy.
  3. Not currently hold an administrative position at the university, its faculties, or the Faculty at the time of candidacy.
  4. Have no disciplinary actions against them for professional misconduct, ethical breaches, or academic dishonesty.
  5. Posseses the respect and appreciation of Academic staff and the administrative staff at the Faculty.
  6. Possess managerial ability and skill in team management and efficient use of the time.
Selection Criteria of the Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Unit
  1. To be an Acdemic staff at Faculty of Science, Aswan University.
  2. To be currently hold the job.
  3. Not to hold an administrative position at the university or any of its faculties at the time of candidacy.
  4. To possess the appreciation and respect of the Academic staff and administrative bodies at the faculty.
  5. To possess administrative abilities and skills in managing a team and efficient use of the time.
