On Thursday, February 13, 2025, Faculty Council for February of the academic year 2024-2025 was held, headed by Prof. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Radi, Vice President of the University for Environment Affairs and Community Service, and supervisor of the faculty. The meeting was attended by Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din, the Faculty’s Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Moatamed Rifaat Mohamed, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ali Mohamed Ali Hamdan, Vice Dean for Environment Affairs and Community Service, department heads, and Academic staff in the Faculty Council Hall. The council discussed several matters related to the faculty and new developments.

Launch of the Digital Portal for Students at Aswan University
Under the auspices of Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of the University,
and the supervision of Prof. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Radi, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Affairs,
the Information Center at Aswan University has activated the Digital Student Portal.
The University President stated that the availability of the portal to students is part of the university’s plan for digital transformation.
Dr. Mohamed Eid, Director of the Information Center, mentioned that the portal is a step forward for the university in its journey toward digital transformation, aiming to provide all digital services to students, including announcing exam results for students in various faculties, starting from the first semester of 2024/2025.
Furthermore, Dr. Adel Fathi, Director of the Administrative Information Systems Unit at the Information Center, announced that the student portal has been activated through the excellent work of the Administrative Information Systems team at the center. Students can obtain their portal login credentials from the Student Affairs or IT Unit of their faculty for registration and data updating.

The National Telecommunications Institute, through the Egyptian Talents Academy (ETA), is pleased to announce the opening of registration for Aswan branch, one of Creativa Innovation Hubs, for an AI course.
This initiative is in collaboration with the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) – affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology – and the leading company Huawei.
The course will cover everything from basic to advanced levels.
The academy aims to train 15,000 young Egyptians across all governorates over the next 5 years on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, 5G networks, big data, data networks, cybersecurity, and other communications and information technology skills. The academy also offers outstanding trainees the opportunity to take Huawei’s international certification exam for free and provides a 70% discount on the exam cost for other trainees.
10% of the highest-rated graduates will receive vouchers for a 100% discount on the international exam.
