Aswan University is organizing the 3rd Scientific Conference for Young Researchers

Under patronage of His Excellency Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of Aswan University, and chaired by Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mehallal Orabi, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies, Aswan University is organizing the 3rd Scientific Conference for Young Researchers from April 10 to 11, 2025, at Aswan University. The conference is entitled:

“Innovation and Creativity for a Sustainable Future”

The main goal of the conference is to encourage applied research, foster the exchange of ideas and experiences, and enhance collaboration between young researchers and professors from various disciplines. It also aims to empower young researchers to publish in a peer-reviewed scientific conference and provide them with skills to participate in academic conferences. Additionally, it aims to promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship, while opening avenues for collaboration between public and private sector institutions and academic organizations to support entrepreneurial and creative projects.

The conference will accept research papers from master’s and doctoral students from Aswan University and all Egyptian universities, with papers being reviewed by a select group of Academic staff from specialized scientific departments at the university.

  • The conference will offer valuable cash prizes for the best three research papers.
  • The conference will accept research papers from young researchers at Aswan University and Egyptian universities.
  • Accepted papers will be published in the university’s journals free of charge.
  • Workshops will be held for researchers alongside the conference.

Faculty Council for February 2024-2025

On Thursday, February 13, 2025, Faculty Council for February of the academic year 2024-2025 was held, headed by Prof. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Radi, Vice President of the University for Environment Affairs and Community Service, and supervisor of the faculty. The meeting was attended by Prof. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din, the Faculty’s Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Moatamed Rifaat Mohamed, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ali Mohamed Ali Hamdan, Vice Dean for Environment Affairs and Community Service, department heads, and Academic staff in the Faculty Council Hall. The council discussed several matters related to the faculty and new developments.

Launch of the Digital Portal for Students at Aswan University

Under the auspices of Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of the University,
and the supervision of Prof. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Radi, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Affairs,
the Information Center at Aswan University has activated the Digital Student Portal.

The University President stated that the availability of the portal to students is part of the university’s plan for digital transformation.
Dr. Mohamed Eid, Director of the Information Center, mentioned that the portal is a step forward for the university in its journey toward digital transformation, aiming to provide all digital services to students, including announcing exam results for students in various faculties, starting from the first semester of 2024/2025.

Furthermore, Dr. Adel Fathi, Director of the Administrative Information Systems Unit at the Information Center, announced that the student portal has been activated through the excellent work of the Administrative Information Systems team at the center. Students can obtain their portal login credentials from the Student Affairs or IT Unit of their faculty for registration and data updating.
