In frame of working on youth containment, connecting graduates to labor market, and qualifying students with more marketing expertise to compete for the best job opportunity.

Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Acting President of Aswan University_ stated that Aswan University _ celebrated the Global Entrepreneurship Week at the Digital Egypt Creativity Center in Sahari Campus and that through the University Center for Career Development and in cooperation with the Creativity and Innovation Center.

The celebration comes for the importance of entrepreneurship in creating job opportunities, improving the economy and working on community development. Entrepreneurship is also an incubator for innovation that contributes to research and development.

Prof. Ayman Othman added that the celebration activities included an intensive training course on E-Commerce in cooperation with Zammit, and the Entrepreneurship Boot Camp in cooperation with Nubiavest for a period of 4 days, starting from Sunday corresponding to 21^st November 2021.

* Also, an intensive training on Sunday, 21^st November, on self-discovery, in cooperation with the University Center for Career Development_ Aswan University.

Celebrating and honoring the marathon teams, and knowing their journey with the Ebtikar Marathon, how it looked and exchanging experiences with them, as well as the Protect her (Ph) hackathon team from Aswan that won the first ICT Women at the level of the governorates of Egypt through the Creativa Aswan Center.

Prof. Ayman Othman explained that one of the most important achievements and services of the University Center for Career Development in Aswan, within the framework of cooperation between Aswan University and the American University, and with the support of the United States Agency for International Development, the center was inaugurated on 16^th January 2020 in attendance of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in attendance of Major General/ Ashraf Attia_ Aswan Governor And a group of university presidents and ministry leaders.

Among the most important axes that the university center works on are:

• Raising the efficiency of the work team at the center.

The center has been providing services and training at its headquarters at the university_ Since its opening _but after the Corona pandemic period, the center’s services did not stop, and it was a great challenge to continue working through the Zoom application. And providing all facilities for students as providing Internet services to make it easier for them to join the training and benefit from all the services provided by the center.

Aswan University organized the training program and sustainable development in cooperation with the international Center for Consulting and general services and that in attendance of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Acting president of Aswan University _who started the Event of program with welcoming the vice deans and students participating to benefit from the training program.

And that in attendance of Prof. Magdy Mohamed Ali _ Coordinator of Aswan University and Previous Vice dean for Society service and environment development, Dr. Mahmoud Borai_ manager of the Centre, Eng. Ahmed Salem_ manager of Digital Transformation Centre_ which is held under the slogan: “Environment and Sustainable development”

Aswan University president assured the importance of training program event which will be launched on Tuesday in the Digital Innovation Centre Hall over three days to discuss many topics of Students activities and working on employing it in serving environment and how to preserve it and also Ecosystem system, global warming, Environment, Sustainable development and how to promote sustainable environmental and industrial development in the service of investment and connecting it to green industry and sustainable environment.

Dr. Magdy Mohamed Ali_ added that the program aims to protect environment and working on society service from presenting many environmental and societal issues through working on spreading awareness, increasing environmental culture to University students to promote the importance of environmental preservation and also preparing especial day in the industrial area in Aswan to raise and qualify employees in the industrial field and how to move to clean industries and also the sustainable tourism development, and its importance in attracting tourism and keeping the natural reserves and its role in promoting tourism.

Dr. Mahmoud Borai_ Manager of the international Centre for consulting and general services_ stated that the Centre represents the Centre of expertise in the fields of Clean environment and eco-friendly clean industries and working on qualifying the industrial buildings to stop pollution and the proper waste management and that comes in frame of training program and the concern of tourism activities to get green societies through applying standards requirements of tourism, industrial and societal environment at the level of Aswan governorate.

Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Acting of Aswan University President inspected the central restaurant in the university and accompanied him the assistant secretaries of the university, the general director of the administrative affairs in the university, Student/ Islam Youssef– Head of Students Union in order to ensure the level of services, and the way of preparing meals for students of the university hostels; during the visit he inspected the various stages of preparing food, the commitment to health measures of preparing meals for students at the university hostels, following-up the precautionary measures, sterilizing works and continued purification inside the places of eating meals at the university hostels restaurants, following-up the health and safety measures in preparing and presenting meals.

Prof. Ayman Othman-University President_ emphasized that this civil tour at the university hostels restaurants comes within the keenness of ensuring the workflow in these virtual places that are related to the comfort of students through their residence period in the university hostel through a new academic year, stressing applying all precautionary and protective measures against coronavirus, with wearing masks as well as distributing packaged foods in their specific dates in a safe manner as caring for the health and safety of students.
