Holding the PhD Dissertation Discussion Seminar for Researcher/ Shaimaa Emad El-Din Shaker

The seminar for the PhD dissertation discussion submitted by the researcher Shaimaa Emad El-Din Shaker, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Physics, was held today, December 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Dissertation Title:

“Synthesis of Carbon Materials and Metal Compound Composites for Energy Storage Applications”

Prof. Ayman Ahmed Al-Amin – Professor of Chemistry, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Aswan University

Dr. Saad Gomaa Mohamed – Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry, Department of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, Tebbin Institute for Metallurgical Studies, Helwan

Visit by students of the Egyptian-Japanese School to Faculty of Science

Prof. Abo El-Hamd Hassan Mohamed, Dean of Faculty of Science at Aswan University, expressed his welcome to the visit of the Egyptian-Japanese School students in Al-Akkad, stressing the Faculty’s commitment to supporting scientific activities and field visits that contribute to developing students’ abilities from early educational stages.

He pointed to the fruitful cooperation between the Faculty and the school, coordinated with Prof.. Alaa El-Din Salah El-Din, Head of the Zoology Department, in preparation for receiving the students and organizing the visit inside the department’s laboratories.

The Faculty had received an official request from the school to organize a visit for fourth-grade students to the Zoology Department on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, with the participation of 43 students, aiming to introduce them to animal anatomy and preservation methods in the Faculty’s laboratories.

The Dean affirmed that the Faculty of Science always welcomes cooperation with various educational institutions in support of spreading scientific culture and encouraging young students to love science and become familiar with the university environment.

Visit of Egyptian Japanese School Students to the Faculty of Science

Prof. Abu El-Hamd Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Science at Aswan University, expressed his welcome for the visit of students from the Egyptian Japanese School in El-Aqqad, affirming the Faculty’s commitment to supporting scientific activities and field visits that contribute to developing students’ abilities from early educational stages.

His Excellency pointed out the fruitful cooperation between the Faculty and the school, which was coordinated with Prof. Alaa El-Din Salah El-Din, Head of the Department of Zoology, in preparation for receiving the students and organizing the visit within the department’s laboratories.
