The Faculty of Science Council at Aswan University convened today, Tuesday, January 13, 2026, for the January session of the academic year 2025/2026. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Abu Al-Hamd Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by the council members.

Prof. Moataz Refaat Mohamed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.

Prof. Alaa El-Din Salah El-Din, Head of the Zoology Department.

Prof. Saber El-Kabir, Head of the Mathematics Department.

Prof. Ibrahim Bayoumi, Head of the Botany Department.

Prof. Badr Mohamed Ali, Head of the Physics Department.

Prof. Gamal Abdel-Rahim, Professor Emeritus in the Physics Department.

Prof. Etemad Ahmed Awad Allah, Professor in the Zoology Department.

Prof. Maher Ibrahim, Professor in the Geology Department.

Prof. Osama Mehallal, Professor in the Botany Department.

Ms. Asmaa Awad Mohamed, Faculty Secretary.

The meeting was held in the Faculty Council Hall, whereas the Council discussed a number of topics related to academic and administrative affairs within the Faculty, in addition to any new works.
